Impression Obsession - Something NEW!

It's NEW and pretty cool!
Look at this great new die from Impression Obsession!
It creates a Business Card Holder!

Just released is the new Business Card Holder which cuts the template for the base including adding the score lines for easy folding. There is a separate die that cuts the layering pieces. The designs are endless and you can really make a personalized gift with this new Die Duo.

You can find these in stock at Impressive Ideas Stamp Store right now!

This one is created from Blue Fern papers. I sponged black ink on the edges of the panels and the base. I added some green leaves from the Die Cut Foliage and little paper flower to fancy it up. Tim Holt'z Vintage Collage Medium was the finishing touch, giving it an aged matte finish.

This one is also created with Blue Fern papers. I used Charcoal Chalk ink to add a little dark edge. I thought the paper was pretty enough on it's own. I left it unadorned and just added a coating of Tim Holtz's Vintage Collage Medium.

More Blue Fern printed paper... I chose to work with Blue Fern because it is substantial in weight so it really creates a very solid finished piece. I added some inky edges with a Chestnut Roan Cats Eye. The Butterfly Die fit nicely right in front! Adding the Collage Medium over the butterfly stiffened it up nicely.

And of course.... a kitty cat holder! How cute would this be to drop off at the vet's office? I guess you could do it up with little dog dies as well! The die cut cats are made out of black foam and then an added a black linen card stock die over the top. It gives them the appearance of little elements. Much sturdier than just paper. The paper is from Authentique's Devoted paper collection. A coating of the Vintage Collage Medium tops it all off.

Ready for some inspiration from the IO Girls?

Summer is here in Atlanta.. its been HOT! Lemonade stands certainly scream summertime and I' have been waiting to ink these cute lemons up, so our summer theme was perfect. ! I stamped the lemons multiple times to create my background. These would be super cute on a scrapbook page for a lemonade stand.

Here are the Copics I used for today. Yellows blend so easily, so this is a very easy color job!

A little black and white twine long the inside of the frame adds a little extra texture.

I added a summer sentiment on the inside from the great Hello Summer Clear Set. Finished card is 4 1/2" Square.

I know... I usually go straight for the kitty images with a challenge like this, but I was looking through stamps and this little bunny caught me eye! She doesn't need to stay put away till Easter! I think she works just fine for an anytime card. I gave her a little color using Copics and paired it up with some happy paper.
I used some inspirational word paper in the background of the card front and I thought this quote worked well with it. I collect quote stamps... just love 'em! Finished card is an A2.

Jenny Gropp - you are here!

It's all about the backgrounds today! I love quotes and this Emily Dickinson quote is a fave for sure. I thought it was a perfect pairing with these gorgeous feathers! I stamped the feather background multiple times to vary the direction and cover the entire panel. I airbrushed with a little N3 to get the subtle grey edges. Finished card is an A2.
