Here's the hop info for today!
Today is the third day of sharing,
so start at the beginning to see all the inspiring designs!

My card is scary simple today!

Here are the details:
White card stock with Orange Marmalade Distress Ink dragged right on to the paper.
Dylusions Black Paint and my Tall Reeds Stencil came next... dabbing a little paint on with the stencil in opposite corners.
I added a strip of Tim Holtz Halloween Washi along the edges of my black stenciled design and then edged it with some 1/16" Black Rainbow Tape.
I die cut a rectangle in the panel and added more 1/16" Black Rainbow tape to define the edge.
On the white card base I stamped my spooky sentiment from Impression Obsession: Haunting Night

Enjoy the hop!

  15. What a great idea for a Halloween card. I had been planning to start making my cards next week and was thinking of just how I wanted to make handmade backgrounds this year. I also wanted to try something different than my usual heavily die cut card elements. Thanks for the idea of using stencils and washi tape. I'm sure I've got some stencils that I can make look spooky. And also thank you for mentioning the Rainbow Tape. I hadn't heard of it before and I definitely want to get some of the narrow widths of the black rolls. And thanks for the chance at the great giveaway.

  20. Love this. Way cool to drag the orange color vertically and then stencil the black diagonally. Wonderful textural appeal. I also like how you edged the window cut with the tape. Love the sentiment peeking through the window. Well done.
