Need a little inspiration?
Take a look at some of our sunny designs!
 Sunny, Simple and it SHAKES!
I used the Sunburst Die as my main panel for my card. I created my own printed paper using the Cover-a-Card Swirls Stamp. I did piece the sunbursts back in to the die frame instead of just laying it over the background paper. I added the little sunshine die to give the sun  little more detail. It really looks so clean! A sweet and cute Sunshine Sentiment from Lindsay Ostrom finishes it off.
I did not have the perfect match of yellow card stock. So I just used my ink pad and dragged it over white card stock to get my yellow pieces. Finished card is an A2.

I've been doing a lot of rainbows lately with my Copic Markers. I thought I'd give it a try with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I created a swatch of the colors and then blended quickly using a water brush. I used Canson XL watercolor paper. My fave is Ranger's Watercolor... but sadly I could not find it in my room! Im in desperate need of a room overhaul and organize session.

Serendipity Dies:

I framed the rainbow die cuts with some cross-stitched rectangle dies and then added a little twine around the edges. Finished card is an A2.

Here is a look at what's new!

Today I'm sharing the new Candle Die from the new collection! It's big enough to be the star of a card and small enough still to use on a tag or the inside. I framed it with the 6 in One Frame and some color packed birthday paper from Photo Play.

I used foam tape to pop up the frame and the candles to add dimension.

On the inside I used a sentiment from the You take the Cake Clear Set and added the Celebrate word from the Birthday Top Edgers Die Set. Finished card is an A2.

Designs from the IO Team

I thought a little shaker would be cute today for the Oooh Baby challenge! I used the Conversation Heart Block die cut and made each heart a separate shaker box (using foam tape). It was the perfect size to put in to the Instant Photo Frame Die.

I used the Congrats Die along the bottom edge. I added the stitched strips cut out of the pink dots for a little extra detail, I just cut portions off the Rectangle 6 in 1 Frame.

On the inside I added a simple sentiment from one of my most used clear set: More Basic Greetings. Finished card is an A2.

Serendipity Stamps Challenge #57 - Just Add Water

It's summertime and all you need to do is "Just Add Water" to play in the  Serendipity Stamps challenge. Design with SS stamps or dies and create anything that is associated with water! All the details on how to play along in the challenges can be found here on the SSCB

If you haven't heard...Serendipity has two new very talented gals on the DT.

Please give a BIG warm welcome to Patti and Carol!

Here's some inspiration from all the gals at SSDT!

WATERCOLOR --- my worst enemy! I hate putting away my beloved Copics and using anything else. I always struggle with water based markers. I dusted off the Zig Clean Colors and grabbed some watercolor paper and got to it. I will say I do like using the Zigs more than any other water based markers. I used cork paper as one of my layers, so even though the card is super simple it has a little texture going on.

Serendipity Stamps and Dies:

I colored the mug twice, cutting the second one out. I curled the paper and adhered it using paper crafting silicone. The little curved dimension really helps it pop from the page.

On the inside I aded the Create Die. I watercolored a little swatch and then die cut the word. Finished card is an A2.
