All of the new dies you'll be seeing on the hop are available NOW!

Now, let's get hopping!

I could make Halloween cards year round... they are just fun and you can be wacky with your colors and designs and it all works! I wanted to play with this new spiderweb background as soon as I saw it. It cuts like a dream and the web pieces just fell right out!

I love the seamless look of an inlaid die cut on the card. That's what I did here.
1. Cut spiderweb out of white, and adhere to grey paper. Next, I ran that panel through my Vagabond in just a paper sandwich.... this mashes the two papers together and it looks almost flat. Use the same recipe that you would for die cutting a thin die. I put the panel in a folded piece of card stock to keep it clean from any paper dust on my cut plates.
2. Place the Boo die in the center of the grey paper and cut, having a magnetic platform really helps keep your die in just the right spot.
3. Cut the Boo die out of black paper.
4. Mount the spider web piece on to a black piece of paper.
5. Place the black Boo back in to the cut card front along with the center pieces off the letters for a seamless finished look.

I added Mr. Spider and and the sentiment to finish things up. A little foam tape elevates the panel as well as the sentiment to add some dimension. I gave the spider some                                   creepy orange eyes with a a few little dots of a pearl pen.

On the inside I added the cemetery border... another new awesome die cut! Finished card is an A2.
