Impression Obsession CHA Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to DAY 2 of the 2015 Impression Obsession Fall/CHA Release Blog Hop!
We have some beautiful new stamps to share AND Gift Certificates to give away!
The hop will start each day with a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am EST. Each day pay us a visit and hop along to see our fabulous IO Design Team’s projects with our new stamps on their blogs (only one comment per blog per day please). Comment as you hop. Each comment that you leave gives you a chance to win!
The more blogs you visit each day… the better chance you will have to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!!!
Every day (July 15 - July 17), one of the IO designer blogs will be chosen randomly and a winner will be selected from comments on that blog at 10pm CT. The winner will be announced the following day along with the participating blogs for that day.
Two prizes will be awarded on the last day of the hop!
One winner will be for Friday’s comments and another will be chosen from all the comments left throughout the week. Both winners will be announced on Saturday, July 18th.
So….if you miss a day or time deadline your comments will still count for a chance to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!
If you have any questions please email Jeanne.
All of the new stamps you'll be seeing on the hop are available NOW!
Today's hop list!
Have a great day!
If you are a regular, then you know I'm a big fan of Gary Robertson's images. This dragonfly caught my eye right off the bat in the new release. I love it! It's been awhile since I stepped out coloring something, so I snapped pics of the colors I used as I went went along. After I finished all the Copic work, I added some Clear Wink of Stella on the wings of the dragonfly for a little shimmery sparkle. The Square Cut Out Border Die helped dress up the card front.

I always start with backgrounds first. My paper of choice continues to be Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paired with Memento's Tuxedo Black.

I used the colorless blender to remove just a little color from the water, but I forgot to show it in the pic. Very very rarely do I ever use the 0 pen.

I chose really light colors for the sun... I wanted the dragonfly to be the main focus.

I still love my G40's more than any other greens. I added multiple layers of the G46 in some areas to get a little more depth.

Dragonfly time! I used very light colors on the wings... again going back and adding additional layers instead of pulling a darker pen. TheE50's were for the boat that I almost forgot!

And last but not least... the body of the dragonfly.

On the inside I cut just a single strip from the Square border Die and pieced a few of the cut out colors back in place. The In Summer sentiment is from an older release. Finished card is an A2.
