Serendipity Stamps Challenge #42

Our April challenge continues! Create a card and include a Serendipity Stamp image or die to be able to join the contest. You can find all the info on the  Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.

Check out the designs the DT came up with this week:

I was assigned to create monogram cards for this week. Some simple snipping of select letters from your dies can make a great personalized card. A great gift to make a set of notecards for a friend or for yourself!
I used the "B" from the Believe Die. If your making multiples of cards and want to keep things simple, adding dimension and recessed opening can go along way to adding interest with a lot of work! All of the paper I used above is also pearlescent and adds a little extra to dressing up a simple design.

Of course I was gonna use the J! This is from the Joy Die and I think the J is gorgeous with the little swirl in the tail! Another super simple design, with clean layers and dimension.  Making a little set of cards like this is a great hostess gift or an add on for a shower gift... personalize with initials and favorite colors!

  1. Love yr black & white monogram as it is so elegant. Also the idea of the recessed opening with the 1/2 sheet of black cardstock behind it. VERY inspirational! Would love to do this card as a set for my closest girlfriend who loves writing notes. Yea, I make her lots of cards :)

Love Atlanta and Metro area. I'm in Canton.

  2. Such beautiful monogram cards, Jenny! So classy and clean. Love them!

  3. These are beautiful! I love that you used a strip of black card stock behind the die cut on the 1st card!

  4. Both are so well elegant and classy. Like the clean look of the black and white and the bright pretty orange color...which just makes your beautiful white bow just pop! Nicely done!

  5. Fabulous cards!! Soo elegant!! Love the extra black tucked behind!
