Serendipity Stamps Challenge #42 - Monograms and Verse

Our April challenge begins with the theme of Monograms and Verses.  Some DT members are showing off each theme for this and the next challenge! Create a card and include a Serendipity Stamp image or die to be able to join the contest. You can find all the info on the  Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.

Check out the designs the DT came up with this week:

Want to go shopping?  We're trying something new - a  "stamp of the month".  This time it's the Jar Label.  You can purchase the stamp of the month all through April for 50% off.  You can see it here.

I obviously went with the verse part of the challenge this week. I love all quotes and Emily Dickinson is always a favorite. I paired up the We Never Know sentiment with the beautiful Bird Die.  I stamped the verse in Versafine Onyx Black and did a little airbrushing with Copic BG53.

On the inside I added a little of the star patterned paper along with a bit of wash tape along the edge.

The bird was cut three times... with the middle layer cut from heavy weight vellum. I dressed up the card with some seam binding and small sequins. The card shape was created with a die from Spellbinder's Grand Creative Book Pages.
