All of the new dies you'll be seeing on the hop are available NOW at your local stamp store or online in the IO Store!
I went with Halloween for today's card, combined with a little Copic airbrushing for my background! You can see from the full die below, I did have to do a little trimming on the tree to fit witchy in to the scene.

Here are the dies I used for today's card:

I used the Sun, Moon and Stars die to make masks out of Eclipse Tape. You can see the Copics colors that I used to airbrush. I just kept adding layers of color over one another til I was satisfied.

I peeled off the masks when I was done airbrushing. I left the moon white and added a little clear Wink of Stella for some subtle sparkle. I used Copic YR23 to color in the stars. I cut the tree frame and the witch out of black linen card stock and then covered them with Black WInk of Stella to get a shimmery finish. It's so hard to capture how pretty Wink of Stella is in a picture... I tried! If you don't airbrush, you could achieve a similar look using a brayer.

I cut off just the hat on the witch die and added it atop the fun Halloween Witches sentiment (#C14308)

Thanks to all of you following the Hop!
Here are the hop links for today again:

  53. I don't think my first entry took. If it did, forgive the repeat. In essence I said I like the 'lessons' received when you describe the alterations made to the diecuts - hopefully it'll cause me to think about such things at some future date. The background is gorgeous, too. TFS
