Now on to the card!!!
We were asked to pick a sketch to use from OWH. Sketch #74 is the one I used from Operation Write Home. Since this about Perfect Papercrafting's tools... I jazzed up the sketch just a touch adding multiple layers using my Perfect Layers Rulers.  The have such a great database of sketch ideas in PDF files that you can download! You can find them HERE.

I stepped out of my box today and set aside the Copics and went with paper only to create my card! I used Graphic 45's new Twelve Days of Christmas to create my card. Sometimes pretty paper alone can make the card!

In keeping with the rules for OWH, I kept embellishments to a minimum and only used one layer of 1/16" foam tape under the circle so it stays relatively flat and easy for mailing purposes. You can see the extra skinny little layers I've added... all use the 1/16" edge on my Perfect Layer Rulers.

I left the inside relatively open... so that there is plenty of writing room! Finished card is an A2.
  • Stamps -- NONE!!!! Shocker!
  • Ink: Chestnut Roan Cat's Eye to ink up edges
  • Paper: Graphic 45's Twelve Days of Christmas Collection - papers from the 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6 paper pads, Bazzill Heavy Weight Peppermint Red Card Stock
  • Other: Red Seam Binding, Bow Easy Tool, Button, Perfect Layer Rulers, Foam Tape, Circle Dies

  17. I like stamps & digis, but using ONLY paper is great! How do you make bows flat enough to go through the 1/4 inch slot so that it doesn't cost extra?
