Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #235 In Distress

Welcome to another post for Flourishes! Today it's Deborah that is hosting our challenge and her theme is In Distress! Sponge your edges, tear some paper...just add some kind of distressing technique to your project. Be sure and play along with us this week, you can find all the details of how to enter the challenge on the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Blog.
Check out what the other Timeless Tuesday ladies have created for your inspiration today:

Jenny Gropp - you are here!
Marie Ross,  our August guest designer

OK... so this is about as distressed as I can get! I can't help it... I like clean lines! I admire the distressed look and vintage projects but they don't come easily for me! I taught this card in a Copic class last year and thought it would fit the bill for this challenge! I used the Flourishes set Snow Wonderful which pairs up with the custom Classic Keyhole Die set.

Copic Markers used:
Background: BG10 - 2 layers of color around the outside
Birds: E13, W4, W9, E41, YR27, E44, E43 , 0 Blender
Pine Needles: BG93, BG99, Y23, 0 Blender
Branches: E55, E57, E59

I used the Keyhole Die to cut out the frame from the kraft layer. After coloring the image I hand cut it out right along the image's edge and popped it up in the frame's window. Finished card size is an A2 and opens tent style at the bottom.

  8. Jenny, this is gorgeous! Wonderful job with the distressing--the edges almost look as though they have been singed by fire. Love the layout, too!
