Here's my project for the day!

I used the Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die Set to create the open window in the card front. I added Flourishes Clear Cover Card Stock in between the card front and the pink polka dot paper. The acetate  they sell is fabulous, it's even sturdy enough to create a card base out of.

I recently treated myself to a little gift and ordered a Silhouette Cameo machine! I fell in love with the Silhouette Cameo from the first cut! Flourishes has so many Cut Files that pair up with Flourishes stamp sets... It makes it so very easy!  Of course I used my Copics to color up these beautiful Dahlias. I used the R80's to color the flower since they were the closest match to the pink paper on my card. The Flourishes Leaf Collection of Copics was perfect for the leaves.

On the inside I added a liner and stamped the corner with the beautiful Dahlias using Real Rose ink. I am always so impressed over and over again by the detail of the images, despite using different inks... just beautiful!

  11. Jenny, this is gorgeous! I love how you made the frame for the acetate and used a banner for the sentiment. I still don't have a Silhouette, but I think I'm going to have to take the plunge, if only to cut out Flourishes images. They look so pretty when they are cut so well. I may be in the shop on Thursday. Hope to see you there!
