I used this new little Ghostie image... he looks like a happy little ghost dangling his little spider. I thought the size of this image would work nicely framed with some nesties on a Center Step Card.

Here is a great template that my pal Sandy Hulsart created, her blog Creative Moments with Sandy, is full of great designs using Cheery Lynn Dies and Copic Markers!. The measurements shown here will fold to create a card that fits in to an A2 envelope.

I stamped the image twice, cutting out the little ghost and pumpkin to pop it up. I used YR0000 to add a soft glow around the outside of the image. I added the piercing while the die was still in the nestie die, using the inner edge as my guide to keep my piercing straight. I hand cut the additional black layer.
In the pic above you can see the side view that shows the dimension of the folded card. I used paper from last years 6x6 collection "Glowing" by Authentique.I adhered the paper to the card panels and then trimmed the excess off at the edges, making sure the panels would be trimmed cleanly and no part of the white card base would show on the sides. I find this easier than measuring and cutting to cover the panels.

  • Stamps: by Serendipity Stamps 1268F Ghost with Pumpkin
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: Glowing by Authentique 6x6 Collection, Black, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White

  3. This is really great Jenny! I love the piercing around the edges...never tried that yet, but I am going to now that I see how great it turns out. Your coloring is so good, the shading of the floor on the bottom of that cute ghost is perfect! Great tip about the patterned paper on the side too.
