Stamp Simply #131 -CAS with Texture

Stamp Simply #131 - March 19th - CAS Texture
Sharon's challenge call: CAS Texture -- Adding texture to cards is fun. Today lets try to add texture, but still keep it clean and simple. Those 2 challenges may seem to be incongruous, but let's try! I think we'll get some pretty results!!! Your texture can come in any form -- embossing, distressing, adding embellishments for dimension -- whatever you like -- just add some fun texture to a CAS creation!!!
Check out all the Challenge Details and see Sharon's creation on her blog No Time to Stamp. Play along and link your project with Mr. Linky on No Time to Stamp, Sharon's blog! Check out the beautiful samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these totally creative designers: Tammy, Janine, AJ,Deb, Barbara, Barb Schram, Jennifer, and Deb. Our March guest designer joins us for the Pink and Green challenge, Marlene Bender, her blog is Heart Spring.

This is pretty clean and simple for me. I added texture in the background panel with a Cuttlebug Folder and also used ribbons to make little tabs down the sentiment. A few of the flowers, I cut out from the DP and also popped them up. To create the corner tabs, I simply used a 1" square punch and cut the square on the diagonal. I couldn't resist a few stitch marks. The finished card is 4 3/4" Square.
  • Stamps: Sentiment by Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps
  • Ink: Versafine Sepia Brown
  • Paper: Dp by Bo Bunny, Neenah Peppercorn, Brown Card Stock
  • Other: Brown Fine Tip Pen, Cuttlebug Folder, Misc. Ribbon
