I know --this is the pinkest card I have ever made in my life. Do not leave me a comment about Pepto Bismol -- believe me I thought of all the jokes myself while I was making it. If you know me, then you know I am not this girly and do not use this much pink..... ever. This card just took on a life of it's own. What can I say???!!! I showed my Hubby -- It told me flatly, that this card would not win me any prizes! AND to boot-- I remembered the color challenge as vanilla and not white -- so I guess I won't win any prizes for following instructions either!!!! I stamped on a light ivory card stock and airbrushed as well as sponged brown around the edges. I colored with Copics. I was so shocked by the intense pinkness of this card, I could not even add my usual doodles. I don't know what look I was going for with this card -- I really don't. This just evolved. My beginning thought was to make a non-traditional colored Holiday card. I think I met my goal. LOL. Final card size is an A2.

  2. OK, I'm ROFL...this is one of the funniest posts you've ever done! I like how you refer to Anthony as 'It'....was that intentional or subliminal?? The vanilla? That must have been from those yummy looking candies in the photo. It's a pretty busy card, even for you! But I love the trees - great job coloring them! I think you should send this one to Sandy this Christmas ;-) Thanks for the giggles!

  26. Haha, Jenny, I know what you mean about a card taking on a life of it's own!! That happens to me a lot. This was a tough challenge for me too. Yours turned out terrific. Love the whimsical fuzzy balls - so cute and the perfect finishing touch. Great card!

  27. I won't mention Pepto Bismol--Maybe I should leave this message under the sweet tooth spidey card so you won't feel bad that you left the comment for me in the wrong place! Nah, I have to leave another one there! Jenny, this is a beautiful card and yes, very non-traditional You never cease to amaze me! I was happy to know we shared the same brainwave in trying to create a Holiday card with these non-holiday colors! Love it!

  28. Well - here's my take: I ADORE pink and I certainly love, love, love how you colored those trees. I guess it's the pink fuzzy ball trim that I would have changed out for some pale olive green you used. But that's just me. You are adventuresome and funny. How I adore your posts!
