Gettin' Eggy With Sharon!

I'm getting *Eggy* with Sharon Johnson from "No Time To Stamp!" and her talented Team of Designers: Dee, Tammy, Janine, AJ, Jennifer, Julie and Becky. Little 'ole me gets to play along with them as the Guest for the Month of April! I don't know if I was more or excited or nervous, you never know when the Mojo will go MIA on you! I am thrilled and honored to be invited to play along with this very creative group of Ladies for this month! On to the challenge details from Sharon....
The Incredible Edible Egg! Since Easter is fast approaching, I thought we would have some fun this week and take a look at the traditional Easter Egg. Let's try to contain eggs in our creations this week -- and you know me, I'm easy! Could be a beautifully decorated Easter egg, eggs in a birds nest, or in a frying pan, or a 3-D project containing jelly bean eggs or chocolate eggs. Let's just get a bit *eggy* this week!!! No other rules - but to have FUN!!!
Keyword ssnotime81 - There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload your project at Splitcoast and/or your Blog, anytime at all! You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!) can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back to Sharon's blog here.

Please check out the great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these creative designers: Dee - Tammy - Janine - AJ - Jennifer - Julie - Becky Please bear with us as we are all uploading and linking on Thursday night. You can see all Gallery Submissions here.

Oh Yeah.... my card.... It's all about the paper on this one. Layering the paper and adding a few little details. For the image I did a little airbrushing for the sky and ground. Then I colored everything with Copics. I added a little Spica Clear Sparkle on the Egg, then a layer of Crystal Lacquer over the Egg. you can still see the Spica thru the Crystal Lacquer, not so much in the picture, but IRL! I added some little dots using a Pink Souffle Pen ( the ink will puff up a little when it is dry) and then did the same using a Blue Souffle Pen for the faux stitching on the left side of the card. Added some ribbon to finish it off. Finished card size is an 5 1/2" Square. Click on the pics for a better look! Now go check out the other creative cards posted for this challenge!

  9. Hi!

When you airbrush is appears to be a gorgeous, smooth background. HOWEVER, when I airbrush, I get dots (like you would get with the old "bulb" system from SU). What am I doing wrong??

ALSO, do you stamp the image then mask before you airbrush or do your airbrush and then stamp the image?

    I appreciate your help!
